Q Why has Business Gurus been established?

A NEDs have a vital part to play in enabling boards to perform effectively, Not only in seeking the right message to current shareholders and advisers but also making the company more attractive to future investors. A need was recognised by the YFM Group to hold all information relating to their NEDs on one database for the Group. The database was launched in December 2005.

Q Do I submit my details?

A After logging onto the site and registering, you will be informed if you match our eligibility criteria. Once you have been notified you are accepted you will be issued with your own unique personal password that is security protected. This password will give you access to the site.

Q What are the benefits of registering with Business Gurus?

A Registering with Business Gurus gives you the opportunity to enjoy non-executive directorship and related opportunities which match your skills and experience.

Q What happens to my details?

A Registration places your details on a powerful information system. When Investee companies and Investment Managers identify a need for executive support, registering with Business Gurus ensures you are considered.

Q How much does it cost to register with Business Gurus?

A Registration with Business Gurus is at no cost.

Q Who will be able to access my data?

A Only yourself and authorised YFM Group staff members will be able to access your information.

Q Do you need to interview me?

A Only when you are shortlisted for specific NED vacancy that matches your profile.

Q Can I change my details after I have registered.

A Yes. You will have a unique personal password which is security protected. Once you are logged in you can access your data and amend as necessary.

Q Who can access my details?

A Only you and the YFM Group Administrator can access your details to amend and update them. This is done by your unique security protected password. Your details will be read only by authorised YFM Group staff.

Q How will YFM Group keep the site up to date?

A The site will be kept up to date by an Annual Update Form, which will be sent to all NEDs listed on the site annually.
